Conveyancing is the transfer of legal title / ownership of a real property from one party to another party or granting of an encumbrance such as mortgage or lien.

Conveyancing transaction involves (1) the exchange of agreement such as sale and purchase agreement, loan agreement, deed of mutual covenants etc. which creates equitable rights (2) completion/ settlement when legal title passes and equitable rights merge with the legal title.
